Getting healthy and clear skin without acne and dark spots is the desire of every person. Because it makes you more beautiful and confident. Ever-changing trends and various options make the skincare routine a complex process.
In this article, I am going to cover an easy or affordable skincare routine that does not include many steps. Three steps skincare with some healthy lifestyle tips. They will increase the effects of the skincare routine discussed in this article.
Also, keep in mind that the steps that I am sharing in my article are for all skin types
First Know Your Skin-Type
Determining your skin type is the most crucial step. Once you choose your skin type it will help you to choose products accordingly for your skin. The simple method for this is to wash your face and observe your skin after 30 minutes.
Oily Skin
Oily skin produces extra sebum (oil within the skin) and it appears greasy and shiny. Pores of the skin are enlarged and more prominent on the skin. If your skin has these traits you have oily skin.
Dry Skin
This type of skin looks flaky and uncomfortably tight. Dry skin lacks moisture and looks dehydrated fine lines also appear visibly on the skin. If you also feel the same things on your skin you may have dry skin.
Combination Skin
Skin that falls under this category has traits of both oily and dry skin mentioned above.
Cheeks are dry and flaky and the skin of, the forehead, nose, and chin produces excessive oil. If skin shows like this after washing it's combination skin.
Normal Skin
Normal Skin does not have any greasy, flaky, or moisture-lacking properties. It appears balanced and does not have any specific issues. If your skin is just like that it's great that you have normal skin yet it also needs proper care to prevent skin issues.
Suggestion: After reading this, now you can figure out under which skin type your skin falls. I suggest from my experience to choose anything you apply according to the type of your skin.
Step-1: Cleansing
Good skincare starts with cleaning skin. For this purpose use a cleanser that suits your skin. Cleanser removes excess oil, sebum, pollutants, dirt, and makeup from your skin. Makes the skin clear of all impurities.
It prevents your skin from acne or breakouts. It also reduces whiteheads and blackheads from the skin. Cleansing should be done twice a day once in the morning or the evening. Take a pea-sized amount of cleanser and massage in a circular motion with lukewarm water. While doing this blood flow will increase on your face.
Step-2: Moisturising
The next important step is to feed your skin with moisturizer. Like we need water to hydrate ourselves similarly our skin needs moisturizer for hydration. It plumps your skin and keeps it young by hydrating it and preventing dry patches.
Moisturizing provides a glow to your skin. After cleansing pat dries your skin. Apply a pea-sized quantity of moisturizer on slightly damp skin. It will last longer than application over dry skin. Gently massage with your fingers until moisturizer absorbs into the skin.
Step-3: SunScreen
After moisturizing, the final and crucial step in skincare is to apply sunscreen. Its application helps in shielding the skin against sunburn, sun damage, skin cancer, dark spots, and wrinkles. Sunscreen also works effectively in slowing down the aging process.
Sunscreen acts as a barrier that protects the skin from the harmful effects of the sun's radiation, such as UVA and UVB. These rays are known to cause wrinkles and aging, or even lead to skin cancer.
SPF
It is the abbreviation of Sun Protection Factor. SPF is the ability or amount of time for the sunscreen to protect the skin from harmful rays of the sun. Different SPF numbers are found in different sunscreens like SPF25,30,50,60 or even SPF 90.
Important Advice
According to my own experience, I advise you that you need to follow mentioned steps together. All these steps which I have shared with you depend upon each other. So if you skip any of them skincare would not work for you effectively.

Skincare is not just about applying products to your skin. It also includes a complete lifestyle. Your overall skin tells about your health so it also includes what you eat and does in your daily routine. I’m sharing some lifestyle tips which I have experienced to get good skin.
Diet matters a lot
Eat healthy for good skin because what you eat shows up on your skin directly. Avoid using fried and junk food as it contains a lot of dirty oil and extra fats. Instead of this, you should add fruits and vegetables to your diet. They contain vitamins or other elements good for healthy skin.
Reduce your Stress Level
No matter if you have done proper skincare but increase in the level of stress can ruin everything. When you stressed a lot there is an elevation of a hormone named Cortisol in the bloodstream. This hormone causes premature aging and increases oil production from oil glands in your skin.
Sleep Better
Improving your sleep quality can lower your stress levels and provide relaxation to your body. As you sleep, growth hormones are secreted, which promote the synthesis of collagen and the formation of new skin cells, resulting in a revitalized appearance.
With consistent healthy sleeping habits, you can reduce the appearance of dark circles under your eyes.
